Caps "Pick-A-Stick" was a Success

Saturday, March, 6 was the fan favorite "Pick-A-Stick" night.

For $65 fans were able to buy a Capitals hockey stick which had been autographed by a Caps player. The autographs were covered so you didn't know who were going to get. Five of the 200 sticks were not signed and those lucky winners got to meet Jason Chimera after the game to have him personally sign the stick!

The Caps raised $13,000 in less than 30 minutes which will all go to Washington Capitals Charities.  There were 200 sticks, however, at least 800 people in line by 6:05 p.m. for this popular event which is similar to the Pick-A-Puck in the fall.

Here are a few photos of the event at the community relations table behind section 104.
