Description from HBO Shop Website:

This four-part 24/7 series charts the activities of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Washington Capitals, two of the National Hockey League’s most electrifying and successful teams, as they gear up for a big-event showdown in this year’s NHL Winter Classic, the only NHL game played annually in an outdoor stadium. Chronicling the highs and lows of each team every week for four weeks, 24/7 Penguins/Capitals will feature exclusive footage of players and management in the locker room, on the ice, and at leisure as they make their way through the 2010-2011 hockey season, and eagerly eye their January 1 showdown.

Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins fans can agree on one thing. HBO did an amazing job with 24/7 Penguins/Capitals: Road to the NHL Winter Classic. Provide your email address here so be notified when the award winning show will be available on DVD.

Opinion:  I think they should have won more Emmy Awards though! 27/7 was such a fantastic show and really brought hockey to a new level to all sports fans.  I'm sure that I would have watched no matter which teams were involved, however, am very happy that the Washington Capitals were selected.
