2010 Fan Fest and Equipment Sale at

Kettler Capitals Iceplex July 17

The 2010 Capitals Fan Fest will be held on July 17, the final day of Capitals Development Camp at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Va. The entire camp is open to the public (complete on-ice schedule still TBD), with a scrimmage set for Saturday, July 17, at 10 a.m.

In addition to the scrimmage, Fan Fest will feature the team’s annual equipment sale, inflatable games and autograph sessions. Full season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to shop at the equipment sale prior to the general public on sale that begins at noon.

Please RSVP by Friday, June 25. You will be placed in one of four time slots: 8:00-8:45 a.m., 9:00-9:45 a.m., 10:00-10:45 a.m. or 11:00-11:45 a.m. In order to attend one of the full season ticket holder only time slots you must RSVP by clicking here and selecting the total number of attendees in your party (max of 4 attendees, including yourself). You will receive a confirmation email the week of June 28 notifying you of which time slot you have been placed in.

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals will kick off their pursuit of the Stanley Cup with the Capital One Bank Rock the Red Rally on Wednesday, April 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Va. Fans can watch the team practice as it prepares for the NHL Eastern Conference quarterfinal playoff series against the Montreal Canadiens. Game 1, presented by Capital One Bank, will be played Thursday, April 15 at 7 p.m. at Verizon Center and available locally on Comcast SportsNet HD and 106.7 The Fan and Caps Radio 1500 and 820. Baltimore fans can tune-in Fox 1370.

The Mike Wise Show with Holden Kushner from 106.7 The Fan will broadcast live Wednesday from Kettler Capitals Iceplex. The Capital One Bank Rock the Red Rally will feature a variety of fun, interactive activities and include post-practice comments from coach Bruce Boudreau. Capital One Bank will be giving away rally towels to fans while Slapshot will be distributing prizes throughout the morning.

The DESIGNArlington awards were created to increase public awareness of outstanding design and to recognize and encourage design excellence in Arlington’s built environment. This is the fourth award for the Kettler Capitals Iceplex, which won awards in 2007 for Best New Build-To-Suit over 150,000 square feet, Award of Excellence from NAIOP and Merit Award for Structural Renovations from the Structural Engineers Association of Metropolitan Washington.
