Washington Capitals Captain Alex Ovechkin has donated a pair of skates to a special shoe auction that will benefit Soles4Souls, an organization that collects new shoes to give relief to the victims of abject suffering.
The shoes will be auctioned off with funds going to Japan relief efforts in coordination with Soles4Souls' 4th annual National Barefoot Week on the charity auction site CharityBuzz.com, beginning May 31st and running until June 22nd.
