Washington Capitals fans are very passionate about their team and proudly wear their love on their sleeve. Or face. Or clothes. Or in their creative signs. You name it.
Caps fans were also on a mission in game five to prove that they were louder than the Rangers fans at MSG. That goal was was easily reached. The Verizon Center was definitely loud and proud on Saturday afternoon.
Capitals players on Twitter expressed their thanks to the fans after the game. Alex Ovechkin, Eric Fehr, John Carlson and John Erskine.
