Travel Advisory for 14th Steet Bridge

If you are traveling to Verizon Center from 395 North or along the GW Parkway northbound please be advised that a new traffic pattern has recently gone into effect on the 14th Street bridge. Half of the center lane on the north end of the bridge will be closed. The remaining lanes of the bridge will be split with one lane to the left side and three lanes to the right side. DC's Department of Transportation encourages those who plan to exit onto 14th Street to stay in the left lane, and those continuing onto 395 North to use the three right lanes. This phase of the project is expected continue for the next six to eight weeks.
