Traffic Alerts
The DC Police Department will be enforcing street closures and parking restrictions on Sunday, February 6 for the Chinese New Year Parade. Some of the street closures and parking restrictions will affect travel to and from the Washington Capitals vs. Pittsburgh Penguins game at 12:30 p.m. at Verizon Center. From 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. H Street NW will be closed between 6th and 7th Streets NW. From approximately 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. additional streets will be closed as follows:
· I Street NW between 5th and 7th Streets NW
· 7th Street NW between I and G Streets NW
· G Street NW between 7th and 9th Streets NW
· 8th Street NW between G and H Street NW
· H Street NW between 8th and 6th Streets NW
· 6th Street NW between Massachusetts Avenue and G Street NW
