Michal Neuvirth is the first Washington Capital to earn the title since Nicklas Backstrom in December 2007. Neuvy is the third Capitals goaltender to be honored with rookie of the month joining Bob Mason (December 1984) and Jim Carey (March 1995). Click here for full press release.
